Welcome to One Thing Only Ministry! We hope to get to know you and share our life with you. It is our gift and passion to bring a Biblical perspective to the life we all live together and to establish and encourage folks like you on your journey with God through Jesus Christ.
The name One Thing Only originates from the story of Mary and Martha found in Luke 10, where Martha is “distracted by many things” and Mary is sitting at the feet of Jesus “hanging on His every word.” Jesus says that Martha is “worried and bothered about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” It is the mission of One Thing Only to aid you through hospitality, teaching and discipling as you endeavor to “sit at the feet of Jesus.”
We have been blessed with a lovely home on a hill just outside of Nashville looking over middle Tennessee. From here we host casual get-togethers (socials), conversations, studies, overnight guests, and retreats all focused on sharing life with others and what it looks like to “sit at the feet of Jesus.” Our teaching and discipling also travel to locations close to home and far away as well as over the airwaves through the podcast “HIStory Through the Eyes of Faith.”
